  • Are you afraid of Ghosts

History has left us a ghost town to explore and the ability to listen to the tales that have been passed down from generations. Lille was a growing mining town from 1903 till it came to a halt in 1913. Very little is left, we do have some intriguing tales to tell while we explore the area in the dark and see if we can find the young couple that was possibly murdered there.

Hike in, set up camp by the beautiful Lille falls, take a dip if you are brave enough. We will eat dinner, visit, hear stories about the area and then we will venture into the town just before dark to see what we can find. We must stay as a group, so the ghosts don’t get us. Wake up to breakfast, another refreshing dip, and then head out after saying a prayer at the cemetery.

We supply dinner, breakfast, water, Mio, snacks. Please bring any extra snacks you may like.

This is a fairly easy hike in and out. Please bring any extra snacks you may want, headlamp, flashlight, and any personal items you need. We can accommodate slight mobility impairment with the use of an ATV for an added cost.

  • Legend has it, it is cursed

As the tale goes, the mine will never be found and the gold is cursed. Do you believe in old tales? As a young kid with an adventurist family, we would venture out to one of the areas thought to be the Lost Lemon mine area. We would swim in the creek, climb the rocks, play in the mud and of course look for the riches. We often found small specks and then one day my cousin found an actual nugget. The fever hit us kids and we dug more mud. Never did find anything else above a flake. 35 years later, we are ready to take people to our special area and see if we can hit it rich. With stories passed on from my Uncle and his best friend from their 40 plus year search of the famed gold mine. 3 days and 2 nights in the Canadian wilderness looking for riches and trying not to upset the spirit of Black Jack, whom is told to look after the area.

Day one, we hike in, set up camp, go over the rules once more, explore our area and eat snacks before settling down next to a fire and having dinner. Western Style. Day 2 we wake up, have breakfast and talk about the day’s adventures. A hike around the basin looking for signs of animals, mine jumpers, traps, and Black Jacks spirit. Try our hand at gold panning and see if we can uncover one of the biggest myths of the area. Day 3 we wake up, eat breakfast, try a bit more panning, pack up camp and hike out.

We supply all food, water, Mio, and snacks. We do have rental poles, tents, bags, hammocks and cook stoves if needed. Please bring your own personal items and extra snacks if you’d like.

This is a 3 day, 2 night excursion. The hike in and out is roughly 15km with steep climbs and descents.
