In 1946 an RCAF DC-3 Dakota struck a mountain in bad weather and crashed near the headwaters of North York Creek, killing all seven on board. The Plane Crash Trail is a 22 km loop located on the west end of Coleman, Alberta that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. This hike is $135 per person.
